Lovewhip is a dance band that jams!!! The award-winning band’s unique “Global Psychedelic Dance Wave” motivates you to shake that booty – with guitar-fueled, party-starting originals, alongside unusual classics!

Singer/guitarist and songwriter “Empress”Erin Harpe leads the band with her soaring psychedelic rock guitar and soulful vocals, while her partner “Juicy” Jim Countryman plays funky animated bass to the max, and rhythm master Shawn Meehan a.k.a. “Shawny Hammersticks”holds down the groove on drums & sound effects. 

Lovewhip’s unique take on dance music has been called an “irresistible party soundtrack” with nods to iconic bands like Blondie, Devo and the Talking Heads, lead by a strong lead guitarist reminiscent of St. Vincent. If the music sounds familiar, you may have heard the band’s hit song “Wrecking Machine” on SHOWTIME’s Shameless!
